North Ramp Aviation is the largest flight school in Vermont. Since 1995, we have trained hundreds of pilots from our location at the Burlington International Airport. Flight Training
You can be your own private pilot! Take an Introductory Flight and experience hands-on flight for yourself. When you decide that you’re ready to start training for your Private Pilot Rating, our experienced instructors will guide you. Then, if you are ready for more advanced training, we offer the Instrument Rating, Commercial Rating, Certified Flight Instructor Ratingand Air Transport Rating. Now we also offer Multi-Engine Training in our Beechcraft Duchess.(Link to Multi-Engine page) All North Ramp Aviation flight training is one-to-one, at your own pace and on your schedule. Ground School(link to Ground School page) is optional. We offer FAA testing at our CATS Test Center.We have access to financial aidfor flight training, if cost is an issue.
Scenic Air Rides
Take a scenic air ride over the beautiful Champlain Valley. Our 4-seat aircraft will seat your pilot and 3 passengers. You’ll see the UVM Campus, Burlington Waterfront, the Champlain Islands, Mount Mansfield and Camel’s Hump. If you live in the Champlain Valley, we’ll be glad to fly over your house. We fly year-round, but the best seasons for scenic air rides are Summer and Fall and Winter. A Scenic Air Ride makes a great gift! Gift Certificates are available.
